CQS stands for Close Quarter Survival - and that’s exactly what we train for.

The CQS Concepts Online Store was founded by Lambert Joubert and JC Lamprecht. The Close Quarter Survival Concept was built on a simple but critical insight that “Surviving the Initial Attack” is everything. In real-world encounters, the difference between life and death isn’t determined by who’s best in a prolonged battle, but it’s decided in the first few seconds.

That’s why we focus on realistic, pressure-tested training and simulations that prepare you to respond instantly, move decisively, and end the threat before it escalates. This outlook has led us to our online store, where the aim is to bring the concepts of CQS, and the products complementing the concepts directly to you. Whether you’re a civilian, law enforcement officer, or security professional, our mission is to renew your PURPOSE, build your SKILLSET, and engrain the MINDSET of survival. You can have all the motivation, statistics, and facts at your disposal, but the only thing that will change the way you act and set yourself up is a renewed Purpose.

Our aim with this online store is to give YOU, as the civilian, LEO etc, the opportunity to set yourself up with products that are backed by a proven and justified concept. You can buy anything, anywhere, but can you justify the concept behind any piece of gear, and how it relates to your set-up and survivability? That’s why we want to bring you the concept – hence our slogan: “CQS – Selling Concepts”. Each product we sell, is a product that fits into the concept of CQS. We aim to bring you products that has not only been tested in our careers with more than 20 combined years in Anti-Poaching, Private Security, and Close Protection.

This mindset shapes everything we teach, and with a renewed purpose, we don’t train you to fight. We train you to survive.
